NFIB and SmartBrief, Inc. to Launch Small-Business News Service

    WASHINGTON -- SmartBrief, Inc. will publish a daily electronic news brief in collaboration with the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). NFIB SmartBrief will be offered free of charge to association members and other small- and independent-business owners.

    SmartBrief uses proprietary software to search hundreds of Web sites, newspapers and blogs for industry-specific news. Dedicated editors filter the content for relevance and draft custom summaries of the day's top stories. NFIB SmartBrief will give subscribers the latest news on sales and marketing, best practices, human resource management and consumer trends.
