One year after Amazon's acquisition of Whole Foods Market, grocers across the country are investing heavily in their digital connections and are finding ways to make shopping more convenient. Many grocers are also looking to put restaurant-style dining in stores as a way of giving customers what they want, when they want it, with FMI's Mark Baum saying, "It's the sort of hybrid-ization of the grocery store and the restaurant."
