Admittedly, I’m not much of a hugger. When it comes to hugging, I try to feel out the situation and reciprocate unless completely inappropriate. And, really, it isn’t necessarily about right or wrong. I’ve worked at places where hugging is the norm and others where a handshake is all you get. Both worked as long as you have the supporting culture.
