The casino has made an effort to reach out to the community using interactive and traditional advertising.
- Working together is key to a foundation of support. One of her organization’s greatest leadership challenges has been to bring together the casinos of Wisconsin, which each operate independently. Now, a few casinos have banded together, with hopes of reaching out to others, to create a consistent responsible-gaming stance.
- Corporate social responsibility should explore effects on the community now and in the future. While Potawatomi names responsible gaming as its top priority, the casino’s strategy also includes sustainable business practices, a value for team members, an emphasis on cultural heritage and a responsibility to the community.
