The Chinese restaurant has become a tradition for those who even celebrate Christmas, as many other eateries close their doors on Dec. 25. Still, from the West Coast to the East Coast, other dining options were available this year. There were 19 restaurants in Arizona that stayed open, according to this report. Restaurants in Kansas City, Mo., also were serving on Christmas Day. Dining in Delaware also offered a variety of options.

OpenTable is one resource that helped people find locations that stayed open for the holiday.
