Last week’s SmartBrief on Workforce poll question was Have you ever lent money to or borrowed from a co-worker?

- I’ve only lent, 31%
- I’ve done both, 22%
- I’ve only borrowed, 0%
Nearly half of respondents in our poll last week said they avoid getting involved in personal loans at the office. Wise move, in my opinion. Unless we’re talking about spotting people for lunch or cab rides every once in a while, the potential for productivity-grinding conflict is just too high.
