Restaurant managers are split over offering unlimited Wi-Fi

50.65% — Yes, guests have come to expect it.

Many cafe and restaurant guests in the U.S. have come to expect free Wi-Fi with their lattes. While the guest experience is cause for covering power outlets in the U.S., in China, regulations require cafes and restaurants to install expensive Web-monitoring software, causing some retailers to discontinue Wi-Fi. According to a New York Times article, business at one cafe in China has dropped 30% because of the loss of Wi-Fi.
