It was also a landmark in social media analysis, as MTV used Stamen/Radian6’s ‘Market Engagement’ platform to monitor audience reaction to the show, with viewer reaction to West providing a highlight. The ability to monitor and engage customers in real time is key to the next generation of social media strategy.
