College students will have access to year-round Pell Grants under a provision in a spending bill passed by Congress last month. “This decision is about empowering students and giving them the flexibility and support needed to achieve their goals,” said Education Secretary Betsy DeVos.

 

Texas cities topped a list of the 300 largest US cities that yield positive outcomes for students from low-income families. Data show eight out of the 10 cities with the best performances are in the Lone Star State.
