Leaders of teams and businesses across the globe are increasingly aware of the importance of a purposeful, positive, productive work culture.

Deloitte’s 2016 Global Human Capital Trends report states that “few factors contribute more to business success than culture.” 87% of respondents — business leaders — believed that culture is important or very important.

However, only 28% of respondents understood their current culture well. A paltry 19% believed they have the “right” culture!

How can leaders stay attuned to the quality of their work culture? They must listen in three specific ways, consistently and daily.

In today’s three-minute video episode just for SmartBrief readers, I outline how leaders can pay attention to the health of their work culture when they listen with their eyes, listen with their brains and listen with their hearts — and boost engagement, service and results.
